President receives credentials from foreign Ambassadors

The President received credentials from newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of foreign countries.
Credentials were presented by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Ms. Mina Tounsi, Ambassador of Georgia Mikheil Ukleba, Ambassador of Greece Vassilis Papadopoulos, Ambassador of Netherlands K.J.R. Klompenhouwer, Ambassador of Serbia Rade Bulatović, Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Filiberto Ntutumu Nguema, Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique Mario Saraiva Ngwenya, Ambassador of New Zealand Hamish Neville Francis Cooper, Ambassador of Ivory Coast in Ukraine Bernard Tanoh Boutchoué, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Seco Inchasso, Ambassador of Burkina Faso Ms. Marie Odile Bonkoungou/Balima, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Janjetović, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Ms. Michele Pranchere-Tomassini, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam Abu Sufian Haji Ali, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama Aymard Iram Jimenez Grand, Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar U Tin Yu, Ambassador of Montenegro Ljubomir Mišurović, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala Herbert Estuardo Meneses Coronado, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin Aniset Gabriel Kochofa.
In the course of the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Netherlands K.J.R. Klompenhouwer emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic sphere, particularly in the context of development of relations between Ukraine and the EU, and expressed readiness to facilitate this process. “We hope that all criteria laid down in the conclusions of the EU Council will be successfully fulfilled and we will be able to jointly celebrate an important political and historical moment – signing the Agreement between Ukraine and Europe. I would like to be a partner for you and your Government in this process for Ukraine to achieve the biggest possible progress,” he said.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece Vassilis Papadopoulos expressed opinion that not only political, but also economic aspect were important for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. According to him, cultural ties are also extremely valuable. “I will do my best to develop relations between our states,” he said.
The Ambassador of Serbia noted that the main direction of his work in Ukraine would be the development of the course proclaimed by the Presidents of the two countries in the course of recent visit of Ukrainian President to Serbia. “It is a special pleasure to present credentials after your visit to Serbia that reaffirmed willingness to enhance bilateral relations. Your joint statements on the development and deepening of economic and trade cooperation will be a priority of my work,” he said.
The Head of State wished the diplomats successful and fruitful work in Ukraine. “I wish you success,” Viktor Yanukovych noted.
